BATH - Area residents are invited to participate in the 4th annual Davenport & Taylor Wellness Walk and 10K Run, scheduled for Saturday, September 11, 2010. The course begins and ends at Ira Davenport Memorial Hospital, located at 7571 State Route 54 in Bath, New York.

REGISTRATION and FEES

Pre-registration is encouraged. Click here to download a registration form. Walkers may pick up their packet and register the day of the event from 7:45 - 8:15 a.m. The walk begins at 8:30 a.m.

Runners may pick up their packet and register the day of the event from 8 - 8:45 a.m. The run begins at 9 a.m.

Registration fees are $15 the day of the race or $12 if registered before August 27. Those registering before August 27 will be eligible to win a one-hour massage gift certificate.

The course is approximately 6.2 miles, a challenging course with hills, paved and dirt surfaces. A shorter route will be available for interested individuals.

CATEGORIES and AWARDS

Medals will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers in each of the following categories: 18 and under; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; and 60+. Trophies will also be awarded to first place male and female finishers overall. Certificates will be awarded to all participants.
